MEET THE GUEST

Chuck DeGroat is a follower of Jesus, a husband to Sara for 26 years, and a father to two amazing daughters. He is a professor of Counseling and Christian Spirituality at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI. He’s written five books, including Wholeheartedness and, most recently, When Narcissism Comes to Church. Chuck is a licensed therapist and a spiritual director. He leads retreats and speak—and he is immensely grateful for it all. During his years pastoring, Chuck started two church-based counseling centers and is committed to honoring people's stories and to providing good, trauma-informed care.
