Julie Short—a higher ed professional, Enneagram Coach, and co-host of the Momnesia Podcast—joins Sarah to talk about what hasn’t gone as planned in motherhood and how friendships have made all the difference. They chat about some of the difficulties Julie has faced with infertility, a high-risk pregnancy, and even life as a working mom, as well as the joys she has experienced along the way. Julie opens up about how crucial friendship have been in her motherhood journey, and (because we had to go there) how the Enneagram informs how she parents.
MEET THE GUEST
Julie Short is a bold-dreaming Enneagram 8 who is unapologetic about helping women climb any ladder they choose. Using the Narrative Tradition of the Enneagram, she combines her expertise in psychology and theology to help women move the needle in their life, their work, and their relationships. She is also the host of the Momnesia Podcast, a place to share and preserve the hilarious, mundane, and heartbreaking stories of motherhood. By sharing and listening to each other’s stories, we hope to build connections between moms that will lead to a kinder and more compassionate world.
