Disclosure Statement

Life in Blue is meant to be a common ground for parents who (just like me) want to raise some pretty awesome little men. When launching the blog, I made a commitment to write only about things I feel in my gut. I definitely don’t want to ruin the integrity of the blog just to pocket a few bucks.

However, a writer mom (and her ravenous boys) gotta eat.

Toward that end, I get paid to place a few ads on my site, but I try to keep them to a minimum in order not to interrupt your experience. Additionally, if you click on an affiliate link and end up buying a product, I may get a small commission.

But here’s the deal: I won’t write about or directly recommend any products, resources, books, or gadgets I don’t genuinely believe in. I’m not going to push the latest robot dog to make a few bucks if I genuinely want to throw the thing out the window. You have my word.

Here’s what I ask from you: If you see an ad that’s questionable, email me the name or URL of the advertiser. I’ve done my best to block irrelevant and inappropriate ads but if one slips through, I need to know about it.

I’ll do my best to address any concerns and make changes when I think necessary. But please know I appreciate your input and take it as a sign of support. Just MAYBE…together…we all stand a chance of raising these boys right.

With much love,
